Chris Rock thinks Pope Francis might be 'greatest man alive'; Jane Fonda loves him too

As Twitchy reported, more than a few liberals confessed their newfound “crushes”  on Pope Francis this week after he suggested that the Catholic Church had an unhealthy obsession with the topics of abortion, birth control and gay marriage.

Make room for comedian Chris Rock, who suspects, presumably from that one article in an Italian Jesuit magazine, that Pope Francis might be the greatest man alive. That’s high praise indeed, considering that to Rock, President Obama is the “dad of the country” and “our boss,” so we need to do what he says. That would make the pope, like, the world’s grandfather or something.

Eventually people will realize that the pope didn’t actually come out in favor of abortion and gay marriage, but until then, Jane Fonda thinks it might be love.

It’s almost like these celebrities project all of their hopes and dreams on charismatic figures about whom they know very little.
