'Who gets to tell Barry?' Men who post lots of selfies 'exhibit higher levels of narcissism'

A new study led by a professor at Ohio State seems to show that men who post lots of selfies exhibit higher levels of narcissism and psychopathy.

USA Today reports that Professor Jesse Fox “compiled data on 800 male participants between the ages of 18 and 40, all of whom completed an online survey about their selfie-taking habits. They also filled out questionnaires on anti-social behavior and self-objectification.”

Speaking of narcissism, while we’re quite fond of referring to President Obama as the Narcissist in Chief, he doesn’t post selfies so much as have the official White House photographer post photos of him. You might remember such greats as Rosa Parks, Neil Armstrong, Nelson Mandela and John F. Kennedy being honored with photos of the president.

That doesn’t mean that President Selfie (and Vice President Selfie) aren’t getting a little more than comfortable posing for photos at arm’s length. Who could forget these classics?

Remember, though: this is only a study and not proof that men who post a lot of selfies are narcissistic. Not all men, anyway.
