Fox News' James Rosen among those blasting DC's 'bogus' snow emergency

After having Monday off for Presidents Day, many government workers had Tuesday off as well as Washington, D.C. was placed under a snow emergency. Don Lemon and the CNN Blizzardmobile were nowhere to be found, but the District Department of Transportation was able to secure photos of the tundra-like conditions in D.C. this afternoon.

Fox News’ James Rosen called the snow emergency bogus, but was thankful it kept his kids home from a day of Common Core.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz made headlines with his tweet from last night.

The snow emergency was lifted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, and the most damage appears to have been done to people’s wallets.
