In a brief but sad follow-up to a story posted to Twitchy yesterday, workers this morning pulled from the wreckage of Amtrak 188 the body of what is believed to be the final missing passenger. The body is confirmed to be that of 45-year-old Bob Gildersleeve, whose extended family had convened at the crash site to hand out fliers in a desperate search for information.

Gildersleeve’s cell phone had been found on the tracks, confirming to his family that he had been on the train. As of this morning, his fate was still in question.

Several were touched yesterday by photos and video of his 13-year-old son, Marc, handing out fliers in the area. “Just help me find my dad,” he asked an area reporter.

Prayers for all of the families who are hurting at this time.
