Is Andrea Mitchell floating a trial balloon for John Kerry? His lips may say no, but …

So, a 2016 run by Al Gore has barely been mentioned, and though there’s been some chatter about Joe Biden jumping into the race to fulfill his son’s dying wish, he’s barely made a move from that window.

If those two can consider a run for the White House now that Hillary Clinton’s coronation seems less and less inevitable, why not John Kerry? NBC’s Andrea Mitchell has even asked Kerry about it.
