The undercover videos purporting to show Planned Parenthood harvesting organs from aborted babies and haggling over their prices sparked a renewed effort to defund the nonprofit organization, but the initial reaction from Cecile Richards and company was the predictable claim that the footage was “heavily edited.”
While the videos continued to leak one by one, on Sept. 15, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, announced that he had subpoenaed from the Center for Medical Progress “all unedited video footage in their possession relating to the acquisition, preparation, and sale of fetal tissue.” It appears that footage has been received.

But will they? Sen. Barbara Boxer (not a committee member) told MSNBC she wouldn’t watch the videos because they were doctored, but was having her staff watch them and take notes.

One result: Just yesterday, Planned Parenthood announced it would no longer accept “reimbursement” for fetal tissue. Now how is it going to pay for all of those life-saving mammogram scanners it doesn’t and never did have?
