Reminder to Deerfield residents: You have two weeks left to turn in your rifles and shotguns

As Twitchy reported in April, the Chicago suburb of Deerfield, Ill., voted to “ban the possession, sale, and manufacture of assault weapons and large capacity magazines,” declaring that assault weapons are “not reasonably necessary to protect an individual’s right of self-defense or the preservation or efficiency of a well-regulated militia.”

The list of banned weapons is extensive and specific (and of course includes the AR-15), and NRATV’s Cam Edwards on Saturday reminded Deerfield residents that they have two weeks left to hand over their weapons or remove them from the town’s limits.
