NYT: White House official called Trump's Ukraine call 'crazy' and 'frightening,' was 'visibly shaken' by it

Since the New York Times outed the whistleblower as a CIA agent, it seems they’re just going ahead and calling him or her the CIA whistleblower. There’s been a lot of criticism from the start that the whistleblower wasn’t on the call in question and got his or her information secondhand, and now we have breaking news from the Times saying, according to the whistleblower, a White House official the next day called the phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “crazy” and “frightening.”

So we don’t know who this person is either or his or her relationship to the whistleblower, but we do know the person was pretty triggered by the call — and we know that because someone leaked it. We’re supposed to know this, apparently to bolster the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry.

So hang on — the whistleblower wrote a memo (sounds like James Comey) describing an unnamed official who heard the call and was “visibly shaken” by it the next day. Just what did the White House leave out of the transcript it released?

It’ll all become clear when the whistleblower testifies off-site behind a screen with his or her voice and appearance altered so Republicans can’t leak a name.

Yep. And Speaker Nancy Pelosi finally decided to announce an impeachment inquiry one day before the transcript was released.
