We’ve never heard of Disrn, but the site is reporting Wednesday night that fact-checking site Snopes contacted the White House after President Trump retweeted a story from the satirical Babylon Bee.

Disrn says it obtained an email from Snopes’ Dan Evon to the White House which read:
President Trump recently retweeted a post from @JennaEllisEsq containing a fake quote from an entertainment article.
Was President Trump aware that this quote was fake when he sent it? If so, why wasn’t it accompanied by a message labeling the quote as fiction?
Because the vast majority of people recognize satire when they see it?
I won't believe this until @snopes fact-checks whether or not @snopes fact checked a retweet of satirical article, and that @snopes fact checks the actual existence of the fact checkers of @snopes.
Then I'll wait for @TheOnion to confirm this confirmation.
