The 2019 outrage cycle over President Trump separating families and putting kids in cages began with a photo taken from a 2014 article from the Arizona Republic. People started tweeting and retweeting the photo, never mentioning it was taken during the Obama administration. But, of course, the Obama administration was “scandal-free.”
Twitter user @DesignationSix doesn’t have a blue check, but he does have more than 100,000 followers, and on Wednesday he explained why Democrats weren’t outraged over Barack Obama putting kids in cages: the Democrats who run the media didn’t cover it. But really, they did — just no one paid attention.
Republicans want to know why we were not outraged when "Obama started putting kids in the camps first". I want a Republican to show me the news story from back then that announced this practice. When you dont find it that is your answer.
