Yahoo News correspondent tries to dunk on Federalist piece about life feeling normal in Florida

There was a great piece in The Federalist Monday by Elle Reynolds about moving from locked-down South Carolina to the relatively wide-open Florida under the leadership of Gov. Ron DeSantis. “Since I’ve spent some time in Florida, life has felt incredibly normal,” Reynolds writes. “It’s also revealed how abnormal the lifestyle I followed in Virginia really was.”

She recalls slowing down in a school zone because kids were actually in school: “There were elementary school kids running around the playground for recess.”

Yahoo News correspondent Alexander Nazaryan thought he’d dunk on the piece with a take on all of those faces coming back to life.

If you don’t like how it’s done in Florida, you can always dress up as the Grim Reaper and harass people on the beach to get it out of your system.
