Rep. Eric Swalwell apologizes to House GOP that parishioners in Laguna Woods 'hog tied your boy'

We went off on a mini-rant recently in a post about Rep. Eric Swalwell — ever since his presidential campaign crashed and burned and his affair with a Chinese spy was outed, he’s become a particularly nasty Twitter troll. We used to think Rep. Ted Lieu was about as bad as it could get, but we think Swalwell believes he’s onto something here — maybe if he can build up a big enough extremist follower base he can try again for president in 2024.

As Twitchy reported earlier, a 68-year-old Asian man from Las Vegas opened fire at a church in Laguna Woods, and the victims were “mostly Asian and mostly of Taiwanese descent.” Churchgoers managed to detain the suspect by hog-tying him with extension cords.

Swalwell decided to respond to a tweet by Shannon Watts by tagging the House GOP:

Seriously? This is a U.S. congressman?
