CNN reminds us that after tonight's spectacle, there are three January 6 committee hearings next week

The January 6 select committee is ready for its close-up. Tonight’s hearing will be broadcast live during prime time on just about every network except Fox News. They’ve hired a veteran TV producer to make sure things are compelling. They’ve promised never-before-seen evidence. This is like their Met Gala or the White House Correspondents Association’s “Nerd Prom.”

Plenty have stocked up on Jiffy-Pop and box wine for tonight, but CNN’s Manu Raju reminds us that the committee is holding three more hearings next week.

It looks like those will all be held during the day, though. The next prime time event is set for June 23. Sorry.

Imagine how jammed CNN+ would be if it were still around.

Maybe Tucker Carlson will get a ratings bump since he’s the only other option on cable news.
