California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who’s obviously got his eye on the White House, has been running ads in Florida and Texas. His claim is that California is where one can truly live freely. A lot of people cite California’s mask and vaccine mandates as proof otherwise. Fox News Bill Melugin is reporting that Culver Unified School District has already announced the reinstatement of its indoor mask mandate effective August 1, citing “alarming” COVID numbers from Los Angeles Public Health.

In the email to staff & parents, CCUSD Superintendent Quoc Tran says the L.A. County Office of Education was notified in a phone call with @lapublichealth that an indoor mask mandate is being reimplemented county wide, but there has been no announcement from DPH on that yet.

It is an objective, undeniable fact that they are inflating hospitalizations. If someone is admitted for a broken leg and incidentally tests positive, they are counted as a COVID hospitalization. LAC+USC hospital says only 10% of their COVID positive patients are there FOR covid.
