For many, Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter is a nightmare of their own making — Musk is going to start banning all of the liberal accounts, leading them to trend the hashtag #IWasGoingToQuitTwitterBut. Musk is a Nazi, but rather than boycott him, they’re going to stick around and make life difficult, keeping up the fight to ban conservative viewpoints. But their biggest fear: Musk will unban Donald Trump, who was banned so that he couldn’t further incite violence like he did on January 6.
The E Street Band’s Stevie Van Zandt gave Twitter a nice compliment by calling it “the most effective means of communication in the modern world.” If true, that’s actually pretty sad. But Musk needs to think about it: Allowing Adolf Hitler back on Twitter is “the kind of mistake you will never, ever be forgiven for.”
