Media hall monitor Brian Stelter gets a new gig at Vanity Fair

Brian Stelter is bursting with so much talent it’s impossible to keep him down. It was just last August when CNN’s new owners, who’ve tried to turn CNN into another Fox News (according to disgruntled viewers), sent Stelter and the entire “Reliable Sources” staff packing. It was only a month later, though, that juggernaut Stelter landed a gig at Harvard. He’s since been seen at the World Economic Forum moderating a panel on
the “Clear and Present Danger of Disinformation.”

The Daily Caller is reporting that Stelter has lined up another gig as a special correspondent at Vanity Fair. Is he leaving his obsession with Fox News behind? Hell no — that’s why they hired him. The Daily Caller reports:

Former CNN Host Brian Stelter is joining Vanity Fair as a special correspondent to cover Fox News’ trial against Dominion Voting Systems.

Stelter will write a weekly column and host a special version of Vanity Fair’s “Inside the Hive” podcast about the case, CNN’s Oliver Darcy reported. Stelter confirmed the news Monday and teased more details about his temporary role.

Stelter says he’s going to be busy:

He still finds time to do his newsletter? That’s nice.

We’d love to see Stelter given the Beto O’Rourke treatment … and Annie Leibovitz photo shoot by the pool accompanied by the softest puff piece ever.

He really has Fox News to thank: It’s the only thing that kept him on the air at CNN and now it’s landed him a job at Vanity Fair.
