As promised by Elon Musk, Twitter on Thursday removed all of the legacy blue checks, which had some liberals rending their garments. We don’t write about @SCOTUSblog very often, but they allege that they’re leaving Twitter, partly in solidarity with NPR, which couldn’t abide being labeled “government-funded media.” We say allege because a whole lot of accounts said they were leaving if Musk purchased Twitter.
The breaking point was having to pay the eight bucks for the blue check.
