Woman Says Everyone Who Follows Libs of TikTok ‘Should Be Put Down’

Twitchy

As Twitchy reported earlier, Axios was having a meltdown over the fact that you could now say mean things on Facebook.

"Another section that specifically banned making dehumanizing references to transgender or non-binary people as “it” or referring to women “as household objects or property or objects in general” has been removed entirely," they write of Facebook's new policy.

"Without these necessary hate speech and other policies, Meta is giving the green light for people to target LGBTQ people, women, immigrants, and other marginalized groups with violence, vitriol, and dehumanizing narratives," said GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis.

But it's OK to post death wishes as long as the target isn't a member of a marginalized group. I don't remember Axios hyperventilating when this trial lawyer asked, "Can I help?" in response to a post reading, "Donald Trump should be hung by the neck until dead."

We're also not hearing any cries of hate speech over a woman wishing death on everyone who follows Libs of TikTok.

Christine Sydelko writes that "every single person who follows this account should be put down." That's not hate speech, though … the real hate speech is what Libs of TikTok posted.

Yeah, that really calls for a death threat to 3.9 million people — posting a photo of the leadership team at the Los Angeles Fire Department without comment.

Is there such a thing as "hate speech" when it's directed toward conservatives? Or are death wishes OK because they're not a marginalized group? The leadership of the fire department doesn't appear to be too marginalized — they're in charge.

Exactly. But imagine walking around every day with that amount of hate in your heart. How do you function in society?

I'm not saying that "hate speech" like that should be banned on X … on the contrary, you should be able to say anything. But isn't it interesting how the most "accepting" people don't think twice about saying 4 million people should be "put down" because they follow someone on X?

Keep the hate speech coming. We can handle it.
