Imposter WWII Vet Crushes Fascism by Running Over a Tesla With a Tank

Twitchy

I would ask, "Remember when the media defended Antifa?" Except, they still defend Antifa, so there's no point. I think it was Chris Cuomo, then with CNN, who passed around the meme of U.S. soldiers preparing to storm Normandy and titling it, "The original Antifa." Yes, those proud soldiers are just like the black-clad goons setting fire to the University of Washington's campus and occupying buildings, demanding that the school divest from Israel. I think it was Don Lemon, also with CNN at the time, who explained that it's right there in the name: ANTI-FAscist.

Well, here's a World War II veteran who fought against fascism and is continuing to do so by spontaneously running over a Tesla with a tank. This is 98-year-old Ken Turner. Or maybe it's not. There's a pending Community Note, citing three sources, that reads:

The man in this video claims to be Ken Turner of the 7th Royal Tank Regiment at Normandy, who died in 2020. The video is a staged protest. The man’s identity is unverified.

Yep, even ITV reported on Turner's funeral at age 95. So it looks like we have some identity theft going on here. Not to mention that the stunt is just stupid. Keying a Tesla does nothing but hurt the environmentalist who bought it … it doesn't affect Elon Musk at all. So why is some British dude claiming he's fighting fascism by running over a car that was already paid for?

This whole thing is just stupid. My father served in World War II, and this is just insulting.

There were plenty of cameras on hand to catch the moment from all angles. So where'd they get the tank, who paid for the Tesla, and who scripted and shot this little movie?

I wonder how many British World War II veterans are still alive, and what they think of what's become of their country. They don't dare say anything, though, or the police will come to their home and arrest them.

I still don't get the connection between Tesla and Musk and fascism. What has Musk done that's fascist? Well, he did support the "far right" Alternative für Germany Party in the last German election. They opposed unfettered immigration from mostly Muslim countries.

Britain is lost, Europe is lost, and whoever came up with the idea for this video is an idiot.
