Jamie Raskin: Trump Grows More Desperate to Bury the Epstein Files as His Numbers Drop Like a Stone

As I wrote earlier, NPR published a bombshell about how dozens of pages of the Epstein files related to sexual abuse accusations against President Donald Trump had been removed from the database. As I said, Democrats pounced, but NPR's exclusive failed to catch fire. Ruben Gallego posted that "this should be the biggest political scandal in modern history."

"Some files have not been made public despite a law mandating their release. These include what appears to be more than 50 pages of FBI interviews, and notes from conversations with a woman who accused Trump of sexual abuse decades ago when she was a minor," NPR reported.

Obviously, the suggestion was that Trump had the DOJ take down all of the pages related to sexual abuse allegations against him. So in this case, the crime wasn't sex with a minor, but the removal of pages from the database. "Some of those documents were briefly taken down and put back online last week," NPR added.

I know it's been said a thousand times, but the Biden administration had four years with the Epstein files and did nothing. If there were any evidence in there linking Trump to a child prostitution ring, the Biden campaign would have released it. Democrats say they just want justice for the victims, but it's plainly obvious they just want to get Trump.

As I said, NPR's exclusive investigation stayed pretty exclusive. More people are talking about who's boycotting the State of the Union address, who's attending the alternative event, and who's attending and who they're bringing with them. As I wrote a few days back, several Democrats were bringing Epstein "survivors" as guests. Among them is Jamie Raskin, who's invited Sky and Amanda Roberts, the brother and sister-in-law of Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

Giuffre, who committed suicide in 2025, never made any accusations of sexual wrongdoing against Trump, and in her memoir, she said Trump "couldn’t have been friendlier."

Raskin thinks Trump is getting more and more desperate to bury the secrets in the Epstein files. That must be why his administration, and not Biden's, decided to release them.

What a loser.

We're now sure how this is "owning" Trump in any way. The Democrats wanted so badly for the files to expose Trump as a pedophile. The release of the files hasn't helped them at all. It's only given people like Jasmine Crockett to say things like, "Frankly, we know that he had already been sued prior to him ever entering office, where there were allegations that he sexually molested a child. This is on the record. Now, granted, the case didn't go through and whatever, but …."

But … there were allegations. All of which have been debunked or explained.
