BBC Asks if the UK Is Becoming Too Dog-Friendly

AngieArtist

As I mentioned in a previous VIP post, one of my favorite follows on X is @Bertie_Lakeland, a Lakeland terrier from Cheltenham, England, who's managed to amass nearly 100,000 followers. This dog is great … his "dad" can pose him anywhere for a photo and he sits perfectly still. Plus, he goes on "bimbles" through the English countryside, showing off some amazing scenery.

Here's Bertie showing off the Cornish countryside, which, as we'll hear in a moment, is problematic.

A while ago, I published a VIP about this clip from GB News about the drive to make the British countryside "less white." Why aren't more Muslim asylum seekers taking advantage of the beauty of Britain's countryside?

According to the BBC, urban areas might now be becoming too dog-friendly. The announcer reports that people with allergies or a fear of dogs are reluctant to go out.

"One woman with an extreme fear of dogs told the BBC that she feels 'trapped'."

One woman with an irrational fear. Let's make the entire U.K. a dog-free space.

Yeah, it's about allergies.
