The White House website has added this to their original “guarantee”:

The President addressed concerns from Americans who have received letters of policy cancellations or changes from their insurance companies in an interview with NBC News, watch the video or read a transcript.

So they’ve acknowledged Americans have received cancellation letters and yet “if you like the insurance you have, keep it” remains.

Amazingly, or maybe not so much, another page on the site is still pushing the “if you like your plan you can keep it” lie:

If a company in the private sector refused to remove blatant lies like these we’re guessing the Justice Department would have been all over them by now.
