From 'typo' to 'speak-o': Jonathan Gruber claims he made a 'mistake' in 2012 video

In 2012, Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber was recorded saying states that didn’t establish their own exchanges would not receive federal subsidies under the Affordable Care Act. That claim falls in line with a recent court ruling which found that subsidies in the federal Obamacare exchange are illegal.

Gruber now claims that he made a “mistake” and misspoke at the time:

Within the span of a week Democrats have blamed an unfavorable court ruling on a “typo” in the Obamacare bill, and one of its architects has claimed he misspoke about exchange subsidies. That’s a lot of “mistakes,” isn’t it?

Gruber claimed that he made a “speak-o,” which is apparently the verbal version of a typo. No, seriously, that’s what he said:
