EPA head Gina McCarthy thanks Bette Midler for being 'clean air beneath my wings'

Bette Midler’s totally on board with President Obama’s plan to slash emissions from power plants in a renewed “war on carbon”:

The head of the EPA was appreciative of Midler’s support:

Bette Midler owns multiple homes, including Manhattan and Hawaii and flies around quite a bit for tours, etc, so her “carbon footprint” (as the EPA would say) is quite larger than the average American’s. But she’s helping push the agenda of a bloated regulatory agency, so all of that can be easily overlooked.
