It was announced last week that former MSNBC host Ed Schultz, who not long ago said Vladimir Putin was a “hero” to many Republicans, landed a new gig at Kremlin-backed RT America.

RT America puffed it up a bit, according to Buzzfeed’s Miriam Elder:

“One of the most famous journalists in the US”? Schultz will be pleased with that. And for all we know he wrote it himself.
