Ex-Homeland Security director backs DACA lawsuit against Trump admin

Former DHS director and current UC President Janet Napolitano has had her own troubles of late, but she’s not being deterred from backing a lawsuit against the Trump administration over the possibility that DACA will be rescinded:

From Politico:

The University of California and its president, a former secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, on Friday filed suit challenging President Donald Trump’s decision to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, claiming it violates due process provisions of the Constitution.

The lawsuit comes two days after 15 states and the District of Columbia sued the Trump administration over the order, which affects thousands of undocumented people brought the country illegally as children.

What are the odds this lawsuit will succeed?

So the former DHS director’s joining the argument that a memo that went around Congress should remain the ironclad law of the land? Just as the Founders intended! *Eye roll*
