'Banner day for NBC'! Journo deletes & corrects viral tweets about 'children born to U.S. service members outside the U.S.'

It seems that today is the day that NBC News folks are going all-out to validate Trump’s media criticism. First there was MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell retracting yesterday’s big Trump/”Russian oligarchs” scoop, and next up is NBC News’ national security correspondent Ken Dilanian:

Dilanian had previously tweeted that the rule would involve all children born to U.S. military members outside of the country, and it made the rounds quickly:
