REALLY? Outgoing Gov. Andrew Cuomo says hurricanes didn't hit NY when his father was governor and before then

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is out of office as of 11:59 p.m. tonight, so today he gave what we assume will be one of his last press briefings. Cuomo’s remarks were to give an update on Hurricane Henri as it approaches, but he couldn’t help but try and push a little climate change alarmism:

If anything during Cuomo’s remarks deserved a fact-check it’s that claim:
