Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul made some comments on the Rachel Maddow show yesterday that received immediate bipartisan blistering. However, for some reason, the Maddow Blog account featured the video for several hours, but eventually the shaming reached such a degree that the tweet was deleted. However, screenshots are forever.

The tweet has been deleted, but @MSNBC, @maddow, and @AliVelshi need to explain why they allowed @McFaul to quote Nazi propaganda on air, claiming Hitler's victims were not German, gave no pushback, and then repeated the lie on @MaddowBlog.
This is inexcusable.

“I didn’t know what I was talking about” is a fairly refreshing admission from an MSNBC guest, but being incorrect appears to be a requirement to be featured on the cable net.
