Remember when Rep. Eric Swalwell reminded Americans concerned about their Second Amendment rights to let it go because they’d need nukes to take on the federal government?

Fast-forward to today’s National Action Network event for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and President Biden really put the “unity” spirit of the holiday on full display when he said this about gun rights advocates. Biden didn’t go full Swalwell and use nukes in his example, but he did invoke F-15s:

That’s not the first time Biden has made similar comments, but after the Dems’ reaction to the January 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol I couldn’t help but notice Biden’s rhetoric doesn’t really add up:

Biden needs to pick a talking point. Either you’re no match for the government unless you have fighter jets (and nukes for that matter) or the country was almost overthrown by an unarmed mob at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th.
