Snow-job on #Juno? Gov. Cuomo tells commuters to stay home, but schools are open

This really doesn’t make much sense. Earlier we noted that while Mayor Bill de Blasio was warning of what could be one of the worst blizzards in New York City history and telling people to stay inside on Monday, the public schools in the city would still be open.

Now New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo has issued a similar warning, asking for commuters to stay home because public transportation might be affected by the storm:

But, again … why are NYC schools still open if it’s expected to be this bad?

Also of note, NYC schools aren’t cancelling exams for tomorrow, so really, some students and teachers have to go to classes on Monday:

What’s a parent to do? Stay home, as per the government’s request or have their kids go to school and potentially be trapped there?
