War on cops: Las Vegas Metro officer shot in the hand after getting 'ambushed' while stopped at traffic light

We’re seeing reports that two Las Vegas Metro Police Department officers were apparently ambushed earlier today while sitting in their patrol car at a traffic light, with one of the officers getting shot in the hand during the attack:

Another day, another attack on police officers. Thankfully it sounds like the officer will be OK as this could have been a whole lot worse.
