A Secret Service agent shot an armed man at the WH today but @POTUS wasn't in any danger because he was golfing

Earlier today a uniformed officer with the U.S. Secret Service shot and wounded an armed man after he approached a checkpoint and refused to drop his gun.

In official statement, @SecretService says agent fired 1 shot at man with gun who failed to comply with commands to stop & drop the firearm.

USSS official stresses that at no time did man with gun access the White House complex.And no law enforcement or bystanders were injured.

It’s theorized that is was a suicide-by-cop:
