Earlier today, we told you about an illegal immigrant in California who killed two beautiful American citizens while driving drunk and who was about to be released after serving only 3 years or so.

Stories like this highlight the severe consequences of unlicensed driving on American roads, particularly when it involves illegals. This issue became personal in 2017 when my father-in-law was involved in a car accident in South Florida. An illegal alien driver, operating without a license or insurance, struck his vehicle and fled the scene. Fortunately, police apprehended the driver, but the damage was done. My father-in-law’s car sustained significant harm, and because we live in a no-fault state, his insurance covered the repairs. However, the claim led to his insurer dropping him, and his next policy came with much higher premiums. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, this financial burden was especially challenging. Incidents like these, where unlicensed drivers cause accidents, contribute to rising insurance rates for everyone. While not always intentional, such events impact countless Americans daily, creating a ripple effect of victimization beyond the initial crash

Thankfully, now that this received all kinds of coverage today, and also because Gavin Newsom wants to run for President in a few years, California has agreed to turn this man over to ICE when he is released from prison, and also the federal government is looking for other charges to pin on this guy.
I'm fairly certain the law requires asylum seekers to demonstrate fear of persecution due to race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion. I don't see economic struggle on the list.

Can American citizens claim economic struggle because of all the illegal aliens in this country here right now? They are taking jobs for rock bottom wages undercutting American workers, they are driving on our roads causing insurance rates to go up, and they are taking resources like police, medical and education away from American citizens. This seems like a very backward system to me.

Thank goodness for a government who actually cares about the injustice American citizens are facing. There is so much to wade through, but we are now on the right path, at the very least.
