Tragic 'Nickelodeon Effect': Tylor Chase in Sad State – Viral Videos and Jackets Can't Fix Deeper Crisis

ImgFlip

Over the last week or so, a video of a former Nickelodeon child star has been circulating the internet. It's terribly sad and caught my interest because he was in a show my own children used to watch when they were younger.

This was the latest video, but there was also a previous video that was just as sad.

A former co-star tried to get Tylor help, but Tylor trashed the hotel room. Tylor's parents asked for a gofundme to be taken down because they said access to cash could cause him more harm than good.

Yes, he will never get better in California. California makes it almost impossible for a family to help their loved one in crisis.

Tylor is clearly very mentally ill as well as being on drugs. Being in California makes the situation even worse since they coddle people in crisis.

This is the worst part. He has become a spectacle and a way for people to virtue signal their charity. That's less than helpful. Even the Bible instructs us to do our good deeds in private.

Hopefully, this young man can get some much needed help. He needs long term intensive care and probably will always require supervision to take his medication once he is stabilized. That would be compassionate care.
