We Stopped Celebrating Men Like Tim Tebow — And Society Is Poorer For It

Over my lifetime, lots of men have been elevated to 'great men' status. They are the men we look up to because they are honorable, hard working, have integrity and love God. Too often, those men end up stumbling. It's revealed they were cheating on their spouse or laundering money from good causes, for example. There is one exception to that rule, however, and that man is Tim Tebow.

Above all, he has remained deeply committed to supporting meaningful causes — and one of the most touching is his dedication to ensuring that young people with special needs get to experience the magic of prom.

He deeply valued being a living example of moral conviction, particularly his commitment to saving himself for marriage. Even with the world — and endless opportunities with women — at his fingertips, he remained steadfast. He didn’t just speak his principles; he lived them, especially in moments when it would have been easiest to compromise.

There are still men who possess the quiet strength to do what is right, even when the wrong choice would be simpler and more rewarding. In a culture that often celebrates compromise, Tim Tebow stands as a powerful reminder that such integrity remains possible.

When the world tells you there are no good people left, he’s living proof that it’s simply not true.

These are the kind of men society should celebrate and uplift: men of honor, integrity, and quiet strength. We need far more of them — and far fewer criminals, opportunists, and ingrates.
