'Amazing!' Beltrán robs Ortiz of grand slam with incredible catch during his first World Series game; Injured [pics]

Amazing, it was.

Carlos Beltrán, outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals, played in his first World Series game Wednesday night. He, and his wife, tweeted their excitement ahead of the game.

Neat moment is putting it mildly. And during the game itself, Beltrán  had an incredible moment. Check out his remarkable catch, which robbed the Red Sox’s David Ortiz of a grand slam:

Beltrán was injured during that incredible catch and, sadly, had to leave his very first World Series game in the 2nd inning.
