Gator throws no-no in College World Series

Apparently June 1 is an excellent day for no-hitters.

On the heels of Mets pitcher Johan Santana throwing the franchise’s first no-no, Florida Gator sophomore Jonathon Crawford hurled his own in a 4-0 victory over Bethune-Cookman in an opening-round game of the College World Series.

Crawford allowed just one walk, striking out five to complete the eighth no-hitter in school history and first since 1991.
