Tim Miller Left GOP Over Trump… But Defending Hasan Piker’s Misogyny and ‘America Deserved 9/11’ Is Fine

Tim Miller used to be a Republican up until 2016 when he became some kind of conscientious objector (at least in his own pea brain) because 'orange man bad' and Trump was just a bridge too far for him.

Now, he's defending Hasan Piker. Yes, the dog abuser who just got back from Cuba singing the praises of Communism and also thinks America deserves 9/11. Hasan is Cenk Uygur of 'Young Turks' fame (using the term loosely) nephew and is a more repugnant version of his Uncle. He's a nepo-baby and overall is just terrible for society.

Tim doesn't think Hasan is a problem, though.

The group has spent the past few weeks urging Democrats to distance themselves from Hasan Piker, the widely popular Twitch and YouTube streamer. The group’s president and press adviser, Jonathan Cowan and Lily Cohen, coauthored a Wall Street Journal opinion piece arguing that Piker’s “misogyny is indistinguishable from that of far-right influencers” and accusing him of antisemitism, saying that there was “no excuse for putting political tribalism before Jewish safety.” Things escalated last week when Abdul El-Sayed, who is running in the Democratic primary for Michigan’s open Senate seat, announced that Piker would campaign with him on college campuses. People can criticize the Anti-Semite and bigot, but please still vote for our party who is propping him up front and center. Yuck.

The pearl necklace should have been the first sign he shouldn't be taken seriously anymore.

Democratic media elites are just so much more radical than Democratic voters—or their counterparts in GOP circles. Even relatively new imports from the NeverTrump world don’t seem interested in appealing to ideological moderates. The only direction they ever seem to move is left.

In case anyone believes Miller's evolution was some high-minded ideology, this tweet should disabuse you of that notion. His campaign lost in 2016 and with Trump leading the party, there was nowhere for someone like Miller. He jumped aboard the ship bilk Democrats of money. He goes where the money is. Period.
