PATHETIC! Seahawks may protest National Anthem AS A TEAM on 9/11 anniversary

From the Seattle Times, Doug Baldwin and Bobby Wagner of the Seattle Seahawks are considering protesting the National Anthem on the 15th anniversary of 9/11 ‘adding to the conversation Kaepernick started.’

Would someone tell them to shut up already and play ball?

Prior to the team’s practice on Wednesday, Baldwin said he has “considered” sitting or taking a knee when the National Anthem plays but he needs to “get all of his ducks in a row first.”

Let’s just file him and his ducks under “insufferable and desperate for attention.”

And speaking of insufferable, Wagner added, “It’s going to be a team thing, that’s what the world needs to see. The world needs to see people coming together versus being individuals.”

Easy decision absolutely. And please let’s not start the “they have a right to protest” nonsense because of course they do, just like patrons have every right to turn away from the NFL should they do this.

#MERICA.

And on the anniversary of the worst attack on American soil ever.

Classy to protest on this date, right?

Bingo.

Indeed.

Plenty of people are saying this, but until the NFL really feels it in their wallets, and thus the players feel it, nothing changes.
