Earlier this morning, Al Sharpton (of all people) and Mika Brzezinski were talking about the deep misogyny on the Right.
No really.
The same people who support a party that refuses to define a woman and that insists men can be women, have babies and even menstruate want us to believe it’s the Right that has issues with misogyny. If it wasn’t so damn annoying I’d never stop laughing BUT since it is annoying, I just really wish they’d just STFU. And I hardly think I’m alone when it comes to being annoyed by these lazy, boring, easily-debunked, talking points relying on even lazier caricatures. Because the Right expects more from women, we expect women to respect themselves enough to make good decisions and not hold the most innocent among us responsible, which somehow makes us the bad guys.
How dare we support life?!

And please, Al must think we’re living in the 1950s. That or he’s never actually met a Republican man or woman because his entire schpiel is just ridiculous. My husband actually asks ME who he should vote for because I live and breathe this nonsense. Not to mention he vacuums way more than I do and has always helped clean up the kitchen.
