Yes, the guy who made a fortune fear-mongering and insisting that if we didn't pay more in taxes, the polar bears would die and the ice caps would melt has been making the rounds as of late. To be fair, I don't normally pay attention to Gore because he's such a useless, lying hack who was accused of being a perv while getting a massage a long time ago ... plus he just says horrible and stupid stuff.
It's easy to ignore someone this crazy.
