Hollywood has destroyed itself.
To be honest, as someone who loves movies and still enjoys going to the movie theater, this has been a painful process to watch. Somewhere along the way, Hollywood decided they wanted to be impactful and make change instead of just entertaining people, and while I appreciate that movies should have meaning, lecturing Americans about political matters when all they really want is to watch the movie has ended a once-beautiful industry.
There's a reason Quentin Tarantino, whom I likely disagree with on many political issues, has stopped making movies. And it's not because he's mad at Trump or whatever, it's because we live in a society that is completely the r-word when it comes to virtue-signaling. Case in point. Rosanna Arquette was lucky enough to be in the truly groundbreaking Tarantino flick, 'Pulp Fiction.' If you haven't seen it, I suggest you do before some 'well-meaning' leftist lunatic gets it banned.
Seems she's upset with the fact that the movie used the n-word, and now thinks it is 'racist and creepy.' Yes, I made the same face you're likely making right now.
