It's been a while since I last wrote about how ridiculous the Washington Post is.
Oh, and it's not because they've stopped being ridiculous.
Far from it.
I've mainly stopped writing about them because if I find myself getting bored writing about them, you all must get bored reading about them. But this post ... this one is a doozy. For whatever reason, leftist outlets like WaPo go out of their way to make any founding father racist.
Probably because they just hate our country that much.

Check this out:
A statue of Caesar Rodney, who signed the Declaration of Independence and also enslaved over 200 people, was removed in Wilmington, Delaware, during racial reckoning protests in 2020.

It will now be displayed in D.C. for America’s 250th birthday. https://t.co/KLgK6pNMiy pic.twitter.com/Oa3eUJTiYC
First, they give you the Founding Father credential like it's an afterthought. Then BAM, the 'and also' hammer drops, because heaven forbid we celebrate a guy who literally helped birth the greatest nation on Earth without the mandatory side of modern guilt.
For anyone who slept through history class: Caesar Rodney wasn't some random dude. This Delaware patriot made an epic 80-mile midnight ride through a thunderstorm on July 2, 1776, to break a deadlock in his state's delegation. Without that vote, no unanimous Declaration of Independence. No, 'all men are created equal.'
The man helped deliver the spark of American liberty on horseback while half the country was still figuring out what independence even meant. His equestrian statue stood proudly in Wilmington's Rodney Square for nearly 100 years until the 2020 George Floyd summer of statue-toppling 'racial reckoning' (aka morons rioting over a drug addiction). Wilmington yanked it down 'for safekeeping,' and it's been gathering dust in a warehouse ever since.

Is that what we're calling them now?😂 pic.twitter.com/q6SOG8yRYb
C'mon, someone should tell them that riots are just so 2020.
“racial reckoning” …. I thought those were peaceful protests …
