'Refreshingly honest?' Josh Earnest states the obvious about the White House

Seriously. It’s about time!

At today’s press briefing, White House press secretary Josh Earnest addressed the issue of unequal pay. That’s when he said this:

"I wouldn’t hold up the White House as the perfect example here," Josh Earnest says of pay equity for women.

Well, duh! The Obama White House has been crusading for “paycheck fairness” for as long as we can remember, all the while paying female staff less — 88 cents for every dollar that male staff earn, according to an American Enterprise Institute study from earlier this year.

So yeah, in this case, Earnest is on the money.
