Kira Davis is sick and tired of people of any political stripe 'assuming my politics based on my skin color'

Writer and activist Kira Davis has been on the front lines for years, championing conservative causes and doing so with style and wit. But some people seem to be taking her and her hard work for granted, and Davis is getting understandably fed up.

Here's the comment I get the most from white conservatives who don't know me – "Great ideas! You're almost there. #WalkAway from the plantation & vote your ideas!". The assumption that I don't vote logically is as racist as the assumption by liberals that I can't think for myself

It shouldn’t need to be clarified that Davis isn’t fed up with “white conservatives” as a whole; just with those who can’t seem to credit her for her own conservative beliefs. Plenty on the Left do that to her on a regular basis, as she noted above. And she’s right to call out anyone of any color or political stripe for attempting to strip her of her intellectual independence.
