Late last month, George Takei came out swinging in favor of employer vaccine mandates.
A lot of people are angry that employer vaccine mandates are coming. I don’t care. We need to do this for the good of all. The asserted freedoms of the willfully unvaccinated do not outweigh the needs of society nor the right of employers to keep the virus out of the workplace.

Takei’s argument was troubling for several reasons, such as the fact that as a former prisoner in an internment camp, one would think he’d be a little more wary of sweeping actions done in the name of protecting society.
Anyway, he’s still very much in favor of vaccine mandates. And because of that, he’s suggesting that patients be able to refuse treatment by any medical personnel who claim religious exemptions to vaccine requirements:
If certain medical workers are allowed to claim they are exempt from vaccine requirements due to their religious objections, we should be allowed to refuse treatment by them due to our scientific objections.

We weren’t aware that a patient needs a reason to seek treatment elsewhere.
