David Axelrod is apparently counting on Joe Biden to '[make] the strongest possible case for why Putin's invasion of Ukraine is very much our business'

The armchair quarterbacking is only going to ramp up even higher in the coming days. And that’s to be expected when Russia does something like invade Ukraine.

But there’s something more offensive when certain people engage in it. People like, say, David Axelrod.

You know, the guy from Barack Obama’s administration:

At least David’s trying to manage our expectations and prepare us for the inevitable and worsening “increased gas prices, inflation, and supply-chain issues due to the Ukraine crisis.” So thanks for that, David.

But honestly, we’re not sure why David expects us to believe that he genuinely thinks Joe Biden is capable of going hard after Vladimir Putin. Our current president was Barack Obama’s vice president, and the only thing Obama did to Putin was promise to give him more flexibility.

Hopefully, God willing, not like that. But we have no reason to have any faith in Joe Biden’s administration.

Well, technically David Axelrod is a CNN commentator, not a reporter. But we take your point, because it’s a good one.
