Given the fact that he’s both a self-described and MSM-described “devout Catholic,” it only makes sense that President Joe Biden would have a lot of thoughts about the very real possibility that the Supreme Court could overturn Roe v. Wade.

Joe Biden used to cite his Catholic faith as what guided his position on abortion.

Guess Joe Biden decided that Alyssa Milano was a better moral compass to follow than the teachings of his professed faith.
Of course, the religious angle isn’t the only thing that makes Biden’s statement so genuinely problematic. There’s also, notably, the fact that the President of the United States does not appear to have a fundamental grasp on American civics (seems to be a lot of that going around).

What he’s saying is that he doesn’t want Democrats to stay on the track they’ve been on and lose spectacularly in November. The SCOTUS is exactly the sort of thing that the Democratic Party needs right now. It’s a tool:
