And now, for something completely different.
At least completely different from most of our coverage this week. It’s been difficult to find a whole lot to smile about lately, between covering the horrific murder of six innocent people at Covenant School in Nashville and having to cover all of the ensuing insanity from Democrats and the Left who seem a lot more concerned about the killer’s trans identity hurting the trans community than they are about the six families who will never see their loved ones again. The Biden administration in particular has been absolutely awful.
But yesterday, there was a much-needed moment of levity at Joe Biden’s expense, courtesy of GOP House Speaker Kevin McCarthy:

If you’re interested, you can check the responses to Jake Sherman’s tweet and you’ll find that there are actually a decent number of people out there who are genuinely offended by McCarthy’s mild joke. These are the same people who didn’t even blink when Joe Biden made a joke about the Covenant shooting at GOP Sen. Josh Hawley’s expense.
So yeah, anyone who’s pissed off at McCarthy about this can go ahead and shove it. It was funny, and, unlike Biden’s “jokes,” it’s not heartless and shameful and entirely disgusting.
